A. Our therapist are available Monday through Saturday, including evenings. Our Psychiatrists are available Monday through Friday, including evenings.









Kasi G. Patterson, Ph.D.

Dr. Kasi G. Patterson is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of mental health settings. Dr. Patterson specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who struggle with emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders. In addition, Dr. Patterson works with adults who suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, depression, grief/loss and troubled family systems, including providing couples counseling and marital therapy. Some highlights of Dr. Patterson's career include working as the Executive Clinical and Program Director for a large community based service agency in Washington, D.C.; serving as the Chief of the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (CAPH) for military families at Fort Belvoir Hospital; and being an adjunct faculty member at Gallaudet University's graduate psychology program.

Dr. Patterson received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2004 from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. while simultaneously becoming proficient in American Sign Language. Dr. Patterson completed his doctoral internship at the Mental Health Center at Gallaudet University working with hearing and deaf clients. His doctoral dissertation focused on the effects of foster parent characteristics on anxiety levels of children placed in the foster care system. Dr. Patterson received his Masters degree in Psychology from Gallaudet University in 2003, his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University in Immaculata, PA in 1996 and his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Villanova University in Villanova, PA in 1993.

Dr. Patterson employs an integrative approach to therapy with his clients often utilizing a combination of techniques from several schools of psychotherapy including psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive and humanistic.
