A. Our therapist are available Monday through Saturday, including evenings. Our Psychiatrists are available Monday through Friday, including evenings.









Gabriela DePrima, Psy.D.

Dr. Gabriela DePrima is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults and families. Her areas of specialization include the treatment of anxiety and depression across the age span, childhood behavioral disorders and psychological testing for giftedness, emotional functioning, ADHD assessments and learning disability evaluations. Dr. DePrima provides individual therapy, family therapy, parent training and comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents and young adults. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. DePrima is a South Florida native growing up in Miami, FL. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Miami and obtained her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. DePrima has also received specialty training in the areas of clinical child and adolescent psychology pursuing both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral/fellowship training in this specialty area at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and at the University of California Davis-Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Her training has included working within a variety of treatment settings including outpatient, inpatient, hospital clinics and residential treatment settings. Dr. DePrima has worked as lead child and adolescent psychologist at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in Jacksonville, FL and most recently as a psychologist at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Her research interests include the treatment of non-suicidal self-injury in adolescents and young adults and co-authored a journal article in this topic in the Fall 2011 Northeast Florida Medical Journal

Dr. DePrima’s treatment philosophy involves providing culturally-sensitive, evidence based and individualized care. She values establishing a solid therapeutic working relationship with each of her clients to help clients reach their present goals. She is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy and incorporates these into her clinical practice.
